You really shouldn't even look at your unrealized PNL in a position because it doesn't matter. Don't focus on your portfolio value or any of that. Focus on trading and acting upon the chart. Don't make a rash decision because you see your uPNL moving. You might not even realize a position is up in so much profit and you keep holding it only to realize after you close it. Alternatively you might see a position in deep profit and then a low time frame pull back happens and you close quickly to preserve the unrealized profits and then it goes further in your favor and your set up plays out how you thought it would.
